e Suquet is none other than the oldest district of Cannes. It is sort of the "old town". There is a castle and chapel Sainte- Anne around which grew a real fortified village. They now house the Musée de la Castre where collections of primitive art, Mediterranean antiquities, paintings of landscapes and musical instruments from around the world are exposed.
The tower of Le Suquet, the Chapel of St. Anne and the Church of Our Lady of Hope are also the historical monuments in the area and are located on the Place de la Castre.
