Eze

Separated into two distinct hamlets linked by a single road, Eze Village and Eze-Bord-de -Mer form a single administrative entity that represent about 3,000 people over a wide area. The rocky ridge of Eze Village, with its steep narrow streets and picturesque charm, contrast with the sea and long pebble beaches on the other side of the railway alongside the Basse Corniche. Between the two, many hiking paths and roads wind through the trees and pines.

Eze is a quiet town where life is good, halfway between Nice and Monaco, making it both a sought out resort and independent residential area, with its municipality, its schools and sports facilities. From a real estate view, Eze has the advantage of having individual homes or villas as well as condominiums, and moreover, the properties on offer are very attractive because of their quality and of course, a really favorable price.

The municipality covers three different sites: the high Corniche , the village of Eze and Eze - Bord- de- Sea.

Grande Corniche

Moyen Corniche - the village of Eze
The exotic garden built in the ruins of the castle is a marvel to see. Walkers will enjoy the many small shops selling local crafts installed in stables and barns of the village. Finally, the gate and the cannon, two guard towers at the entrance of the village, are classified as historical monuments.

Basse Corniche - Eze-Bord-de-mer
A real seaside resort protected by two mountains, the lower Corniche offers a favorable climate for Mediterranean vegetation. It 's nice to go sunbathing on the beach on the bay of Eze shaded by a pine forest or the private Papaya Beach and Anjuna beach clubs to enjoy a cocktail. Water sports are also available : catamaran, kayaking and windsurfing, all framed by the Eze yacht club.
The naming of the streets of the Basse Corniche (cicadas, carnations and Provence ) echoes the mild and subtle climate of Eze Bord de Mer. Indeed, this climate is conducive to a strong rich vegetation banana, lemon, date palms and orange trees.

Education in Eze
For children, two primary schools are located in the municipality : the André Gianton school groups and school Les Cigales de Mer. For young children, there is a nursery and a Day Care as well as l’Atelier eveil Baby.

Living in Eze
