Separated into two distinct hamlets linked by a single road, Eze Village and Eze-Bord-de -Mer form a single administrative entity that represent about 3,000 people over a wide area. The rocky ridge of Eze Village, with its steep narrow streets and picturesque charm, contrast with the sea and long pebble beaches on the other side of the railway alongside the Basse Corniche. Between the two, many hiking paths and roads wind through the trees and pines.
Eze is a quiet town where life is good, halfway between Nice and Monaco, making it both a sought out resort and independent residential area, with its municipality, its schools and sports facilities.
